• Make sure you are 100% comfortable with an off-road Trip. Expect to encounter slippery, narrow, unpaved roads and stretches of grit and rubble with water flowing through them.
• The above Package is Valid for Indian Nationals Only, who Having Valid Indian Photo Id Proof.
• Kindly Note, Spiti Packages and Group Departures are Not Valid for – Bangladesh, Pakistan & Chinese Citizens.
• All Sightseeing totally depends upon Weather, Road Conditions, and Time management of Guests. Sightseeing Can be Shifted to Other Days or can be missed, Totally Depending upon the Road conditions and time management of Guests.
• Kindly Note – In Group Departure for all Guests – There will be only One Pickup Point and One Drop Point. All Guests have to report to the Pickup Point to board the vehicle. Same with Drop Point, We will drop off all guests at one point only.
• If you want to be a part of the fixed departure group but do not wish to share the car with others and want the car dedicated exclusively to you / your group, please let us know and we’ll let you know the revised price for the same.
• Accommodation will be provided on a Double/Triple/Quad Sharing basis as per the number of guests and as per the Package Chosen from Guest Side. But Kindly Note – Single/Double sharing stay is not possible in Winters in Kaza (Lidang) & Tabo for Groups. Travellers who are travelling will accommodate in Triple/Quad Sharing stay only with other co-travellers, Depending upon availability.
• Vehicle Provided as per the Group Size and availability only. If Group members are 0-3 then 01 Non-AC Sedan (Dzire/Etios/Similar) – will be provided. If Group members are 4-6/OR/7 then 01 Non-AC SUV (Ertiga/Xylo/Innova/Scorpio/Similar) – will be provided. If Group members are more than 07, Then 01 Non-AC (Tempo Traveler/Similar) – will be Provided. The final Decision for the Vehicle is always on Spiti Expedition Team and Guests have to agree on the Same. For Till 7 Persons we can Provide either a NON-AC SUV OR NON-AC Tempo Traveler as per the Possibilities.
• Group Departure will be processed if the Minimum Number of Persons is 3 for Group Departure. If persons are below 3 for any group departure then we reserve the Right to Terminate or Cancel the Group Departure Anytime without Any Prior Notice.
• For Group Departures Vouchers and Final Confirmation of Stays will be Given 3 Days Prior to the Trip Start Date.
• During the Trip, our Driver (Also Consider as the Tour Captain) will Handle the Complete Tour from the Starting to the End.
• For the Complete Trip – From the Starting till the end, For Guest Safety, Security, Sightseeing, Etc. The Final decision is always from the Uncia Trails/Driver side and all guests have to agree with that.
• A separate Travel Guide and Tour Captain will not be provided for the Group Departure.
• Only common washrooms are available. You will not get an attached washroom during the winter season due to cold weather conditions.
• This Spiti Valley tour can be customized as per your dates, group size, and requirements and be arranged as a private tour.
• Accommodation here will be on a double-sharing basis. If you are a solo traveller, the cost will stay the same but you will be sharing the room with another solo traveller of the same gender.
• If you are looking for a single room at all place, do let us know and we’ll help you with the revised cost.
• In Winters Spiti Fully Covered with heavy Snow. Only limited Accommodation facilities available with Eco Friendly Dry common toilets & washrooms are available. As in winter Water Freezed. Electricity and Water problem is common in Kinnaur and Spiti in Winters.
• Kindly Note Gue Mummy Sightseeing totally depends upon the road conditions. If at the time of travel is not possible for the vehicle to cover the same, Then for the Guests’ safety we will not cover the same Sightseeing.
• In case Roads are blocked and the further journey is not possible then we will take the best possible decision for the Guest’s Safety and the guest have to agree to the same.
• Kindly note at the time of Travel if Route will get closed or is in bad condition then will take the alternative route with an alternate Stay for the Guest’s safety but for that Supplement cost will be applicable which has to be bear by the Guests directly.
• All Guests have to Report to the Meeting Point on Time, If Any Guest got delayed then we reserve the Right to Move the Vehicle and Guests have to reach their own at the Next Stop Point.
• Meals (Breakfast & Dinner) will be provided in Stays only. No Meals can be packed.
• The sequence of the day-wise itinerary for the Spiti winter expedition may change depending on traffic schedules/restrictions on some roads and other unforeseen events.
• If there is an unprecedented hike in the cost of transport (including fuel surcharge) or accommodation, it will affect the price.
• Any kind of refund is not possible for any unused services.
• If the vehicle is deteriorating, it will take some time to fix. Until then, you will have to wait for the next update. Some time will need 05-06 hours to fix.
• Please don’t use Single-use plastic bottles in Spiti, Carry Hard Steel water bottles for the trip.
• Due to Cold and Low Temperatures, Electricity and Running water facilities would not be available in Spiti and Sometimes in Kinnaur as well.
• Sometimes Luggage Assistance is not possible in Kinnaur and Spiti in Winter due to the unavailability of Staff. Guests have to prepare to Carry their own luggage.
• We shall not be responsible for any change in the itinerary for the Spiti winter expedition due to landslides, flight cancellations, weather conditions, or any unforeseen events. The additional cost incurred will be in addition to the package price.
• Spiti is a Destination that is totally offbeat and growing nowadays. So you will not get any luxury stay at this type of place. It’s a place for experience and exploration.
• Guests shall be liable to pay for any damages, except normal wear and tear to an asset if any.

• We will not pay, reimburse, cover losses or take any responsibility for any activity which is due to circumstances beyond our control. When we say circumstances beyond our control, it means any event which we cannot avoid even after taking all the necessary precautions. Such events include but are not limited to airport closures, war, natural disasters, nuclear disasters, pandemics, acts of terrorism, illness, death, injury, burglary, and bad weather.
• The trip will start only after the payment of the full amount. Make sure you make all the arrangements beforehand.
• To reach your homestay/hotel, you have to do a small trek of 10 to 15 minutes.
• Spiti is a small and beautiful valley in a remote location. Don’t compare its hospitality and services with other hotels in the main tourist locations.
• If the mentioned hotel is not available, we may shift you to another similar hotel. In case the mentioned property is not available at the time due to peak season time then we assure you that you will get the same category and same quality of the property on the basis of availability.
• Check-in/check-out time at all the properties will be at 1200 hrs (Noon). Some properties may not allow early check-in.
• Buffet Service will be available from 8:00 am to 9:30 am and 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
• You will get hot water in for a few hours in the morning. Kindly ask the receptionist about the times in advance.
• Room heaters are available at the hotel for an extra cost.
• Triple Sharing does not necessarily mean Three Separate Beds. It can have one double bed and one rollaway bed. 
• The vehicle will be provided as per the itinerary, any additional sightseeing not mentioned in the Itinerary will be charged extra.
• No refund or compensation for any unused services/transportation in any circumstance.
• Visits to museums/parks/monasteries/forts in the tour are subject to their opening on the day of the visit as per the rules of the competent authority.
• We will not wear any cost for flights cancelled or delayed due to any reason.
• There will be no compensation if you are delayed due to roadblocks, natural calamities, or personal reasons. The alternate accommodation cost due to the same should be borne by you.
• No changes in the date of the tour once booked. However, you can postpone the tour if it gets cancelled due to natural calamities, government restrictions, pandemics, riots, or war.
• This Group Departure is in Collaboration with Spiti Expedition. For all our group Departures we have collaborated with multiple Travel Companies.
• Rates are subject to change until you haven’t paid the full amount.
• Room allotment will be as per the availability at the time of check-in, floor or view preferences are not guaranteed.
• All expenses not included in the cost of the package shall be paid directly at the time of checkout.
• Smoking or drinking is not allowed inside the vehicle.
• You are advised to take insurance before starting the tour.

• 30 days or more: 90% of the total Package Cost is refundable
• 21-30 days: 75% of the total Package Cost is refundable
• 11-20 days: 50% of the total Package Cost is refundable
• Less than 10 days: No refund

If Due for Any Reason, Any Guest is unable to Join the Group and wants to Shift the Seats on another Date, Then we will do the same but Amendment Charges of INR 2500/- are to be paid Extra. Guests have to Inform us the same 07 Days Prior to Starting the Group Departure. If the Guest’s Informed between 07 Days Starting the Group Departure then the Amendment will not be possible. Guest can Shift the Seats in 2022-23 Group Departures only. In That case, the Complete Amount is NON-REFUNDABLE.

• All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants, etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general well-being.
• All complaints, suits, claims, or disputes of whatsoever nature relating to any products offered by The Spiti Expedition, will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Spiti Valley.
• Any alteration or cancellation of services after your holiday has commenced can incur penalties. There is no refund for unused services.
• We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the program or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accidents, breakdown of machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, weather, Health Sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.
• We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation, or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
• During Travel if the route is closed due to any reason and we have to shift the travel route and itinerary for guest safety, Supplement costs will be applicable for the same which has to be bear by the guests directly.
• Also note Uncia Trails reserves the right to Stop, Terminate or Cancel the tour at any time if the guests didn’t clear the balance payments before or till on the day of arrival.
• We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accidents, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.

We cannot pay any compensation, reimburse expenses, cover losses for any amount, or otherwise accept responsibility if as a result of circumstances beyond our control, we have to change your tour after booking, or we cannot supply your tour, as we had agreed, or you suffer any loss or damage of any description. When we refer to circumstances beyond our control, we mean any event that we could not foresee or avoid, even after taking all reasonable care. Such circumstances will usually include but are not limited to, war, the threat of war, airport closures, epidemics, natural or nuclear disasters, terrorist activity, civil unrest, industrial dispute, and bad weather.

The best time for a Spiti winter expedition is from December to February. This is when the temperatures are at their lowest, and the landscape is covered in snow.
